Talbot Freeman & Associates, Inc. (TFA Yachts) was founded on simple principles and backed by over 23 years of yacht sales, ownership, management, refit, and Marine Finance experience accumulated by its founder and CEO, Talbot O. Freeman III. Originally based in Portland, Maine in 1987 Mr. Freeman moved operations to Fort Lauderdale, Florida "Yachting Capital of the World" in 1992 and has been very active in the South Florida yacht brokerage arena ever since specializing in large and medium sized Motoryachts and Sport Fisherman. Mr. Freeman comes from 150 years of New England boat building heritage and the famous "Morse" shipbuilding family of Bath, Maine. This family heritage included the building of the famous 1930 Sailing Yacht "Brilliant" now owned by the Mystic Seaport Museum.
With two offices (Ft Lauderdale, Florida and Camden, Maine), TFA Yachts is geared up to assist you with all your yachting requirements while remaining small enough to provide very dedicated personalized services to each client. Talbot Freeman & Associates, Inc. was formed to provide all aspects of sales and service to the yachting public without compromise. Talbot, the founder and President, has always held himself and his staff to the simple philosophy of "do what you love, do it well, and share your knowledge and experience for the benefit of each client". Helping each client through every step of yacht ownership and ensuring that their experience is a pleasurable one is the simple key to our success.
