About UsTim Ashe has been selling and outfitting yachts for over 10 years. After an extensive four-year cruise throughout the entire Caribbean, he returned to Florida to pass his knowledge of cruising on to aspiring bluewater sailors. Tim has represented Tartan and C&C yachts on Florida’s Gulf Coast since 1999 and races periodically on a Tartan 4100 for the Suncoast circuit. After completing a Trans Atlantic in 2004, Tim feels that Designers such as Tim Jackett, Chief Designer of Tartan and C&C Yachts "are right on the money" with building fast, safe passage makers. "Today’s composites and building techniques allow for speed, strength, and sea keeping ability which are paramount for safe offshore cruising". Tartan and C&C Yachts of Florida is proud (and lucky) to have Tim Ashe on the Palmetto team. KENT DUDLEY, Yacht Broker Kent has over logged in over 15,000 offshore miles as a cruising sailor. Kent has just finished in 2006 a 2 year cruise and exploration of the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterenean. Kent has over 17 years of sailing experience and has won the Isla Mujeres Yacht Race in 1994. A 500 mile Yacht Race from St Petersburg, Florida to Isla Mujeres, Mexico. Other travels include Cuba, The Bahamas, Central America and the Caribbean.
