Swan 62 Raised Saloon Constanter
Constanter must be one of the best maintained Swans of her type and size. The full time skipper (who has had long experience running Swans) has looked after her from the moment she left the yard. The owner has also spared no expense making sure she is well equipped and always ready to sail. She is featured on the Swan website and has been the focus of articles in Yachting World and SAIL magazine.
The current owner has enjoyed both cruising and participating in Swan regattas with this version of the very popular and successful Swan 60. At 65 feet, she benefits from a raised saloon, an extended transom, an open aft cockpit and a number of performance enhancing features such as a carbon rig, a Park Avenue boom and additional and upgraded deck hardware (including Lewmar 88’s at the center cockpit). She has a full complement of cruising and racing sails and top-of-the-line electronics and navigation systems. She was the first Swan across the line in the 2002 ARC, earned a first place trophy for the distance race in the 2003 Swan American Regatta in Newport and won first overall for the Swan competitors at Cork Week in 2004. Cruising and racing on Constanter is fast and comfortable. As a cruising boat that has been performance optimized on the race course, she sails exceptionally well while providing her guests unparalleled comfort for a boat her size. This dual orientation makes Constanter truly unique.
