A fine passage was completed in December by the British owner of the latest new Nauticat 441 which sailed from Turku in Finland to it's new base on the south coast of England. Despite encountering two force nine "breezes" the owner was happy to report on his arrival that he had no problems and the winter trip was accomplished as planned.
Congratulations to Tom Sampson on board his Nauticat 331 called Katanne which has now completed a very fine 5 years circumnavigation. Also congratulations to Frank Rothwell on his Nauticat 515 who has just finished, in one season, an excellent cruise through the North West passage. This was 8,500 miles from Seattle, through the arctic seas across the top of Canada and back to Scotland.
33' Nauticat 33
A beautiful example of a classic Nauticat 33 mark two with 5’1’’ fin and skeg. She has been carefully maintained by a knowledgeable owner and an early inspection is recommended.
