We are located on the Illinois River, about one hour from Chicago. Family owned and operated from its inception in 1961, the Thorpe's have endeavored to create an oasis apart from the hustle and bustle of the city. A short drive southwest of Chicago is all that is required in order to experience the serenity of the Illinois River Valley.
Three protected harbors with utilities
All 200 slips are outside the river's current and within floating piers. This feature is of
extreme importance, assuring that any fluctuation in the water level will not affect the
mooring safety of your vessel. Electrical power (30 or 50 amp), water, and cable TV are
provided at each dock.
Over 75 new & used boats in inventory and on display
Our sales department is at your disposal, year 'round, to assist
you in the selection of your next vessel. Call upon our experts to

of new, pre-owned, and brokerage units available on-site or from
