60' Passagemaker by Sea Spirit
This fiberglass production yacht was developed as a small ocean going displacement motor yacht to have many attributes of and similarities to a much larger yacht. The profile is very businesslike, with Portuguese bridge, tall bulwarks, canoe stern, and enclosed aft deck. The hull shape has been optimized for maximum fuel efficiency and includes a bulbous bow and integral swim platform for additional waterline length. She sleeps six guests in three staterooms. With over 12,000 miles and 1,300+ hours logged, DAUNTLESS (Hull #1) is now cruising the Great Lakes. Sea Spirit delivered DAUNTLESS to its owner March 2008 in Seattle. Since then she has cruised Alaska, the Pacific coast to the Panama Canal, up the Caribbean and along the East Coast into the Great Lakes via the height-restricted Erie Canal System. DAUNTLESS handled seas greater than 12' while passing Cuba en route Key West. One of the experienced crew described her sea kindliness "like a knife cutting through soft butter".
