Shalimar Yacht Brokerage operates out of Shalimar Yacht Basin’s full service boat yard and marina. This location allows us convenient access to haul-out for marine survey or repairs. Our busy marina, with 405 slips, brings us a constant flow of traffic from boaters who could be considering moving up. We are not only experienced in the business of selling boats but have the added advantage of being part of a complete yacht service business that keeps us immersed in all aspects of the boating industry.
Shalimar Yacht Basin is the perfect location for a yacht brokerage. Steve and Paulette Peterson bought the then sleepy operation in 2001 and have turned it into a premier boat yard and storage facility for the Emerald Coast Area. Area boaters of all stripes find their way here to take advantage of the knowledgeable staff and excellent reputation. The Petersons are not only active in the boating community but are active in many area charity organizations.
Paulette has been a broker for over six years and has earned a reputation for managing to get buyers and sellers together. Listing your boat with Shalimar Yacht Brokerage eliminates the need to arrange for repairs or haul-out for marine survey. If your boat is forklift capable we can store it in the enclosed barn or on outside racks and have it down and ready to show when potential buyers are scheduled to arrive. We can store, repair, show, sell and document your boat and all you have to do is call Paulette and let her make things happen.
