About us
"X" markes the spot!
Sea of Cortez Yachts' office is on the "malecon," or side walk, which surrounds Marina San Carlos. The marina is oriented E-W, and we're in the northeast corner. On your GPS, you'll find us at Latitude 27.948N, Longitude 111.054W.
Not too bad a view! Here's what you'll see when you're standing in front of our office. Several times a year we have a whispy marine layer swirl into the bay and over the mountains. Here, our geologic signature piece, Tetakawi, looms the across the bay, her flanks partly hidden with the fog.
It's a beautiful place to live, work, fish, dive and sail! Come see for yourself!
Too long a sales guy! Tom Johnston has been in the sales and marketing trenches for nearly forty years, the last twenty as a bi-coastal boat broker. Why he isn't a worn out, burned out veteran is anyone's guess! Instead, he's upbeat all the time. Go figure!
For Charlie Bloomer the world used to be about human resources and training. Fortunately, he broke that habit, chucked it all and came to Mexico. When you visit San Carlos, you'll understand why. He built one very successful brokerage from the ground up and is now on his second! After all, you can only make so many mistakes before you get it right!
We're a lot closer than you think! Check out our "Don't panic!" page for help with planning your trip south.
