After his children became independent Ted decided to follow his passion and get involved in yacht sales. Ted has lived and sailed in the Caribbean, the Atlantic and Pacific coasts in addition to Puget Sound. Ted currently lives on his trawler with “Nikko” his Cavalier King Charles spaniel at Shilshole Bay Marina. He reports that the commute to work is great: 3 minutes walking, 1 minute by bike. Ted also reports... “I love to be around boats and talk about boats and boating. Making some money while doing what I love is certainly an added benefit.”

64' Northern Marine Long Range Trawler Yacht
1998
US$ 1,950,000
A Blue Water, Long Range (over 3,000 miles) Trawler Style Yacht built by a very reputable builder (Northern Marine) in Anacortes, Washington. This yacht is in excellent condition. Her 80 ton displacement and heavy duty systems makes her more like a small ship but she can actually be single handed. The current owner makes good use of the four control stations and five remote controlled cameras when he single hands this vessel through the San Juan and Gulf Islands. One of the steering stations is a full function wireless remote that includes bow & stern hydraulic thrusters, forward/reverse and throttle, up/down windlass and crane control for launching the four shore boats. This yacht has been up and down the Pacific and Atlantic coasts and through the Panama Canal. She is ready to go again.
