Welcome to San Juan Yachts

San Juan Composites was founded in May of 1998 by a core group of Pacific Northwest yacht builders to build our line of SanJuanYachts® using a combination of traditional and cutting edge boat building technologies. Our yachts are proudly built by hand in the United States by our team of boat builders, offering unequaled traditional and high tech expertise. Overall we average 15 years of yacht construction experience per employee.

The focus of San Juan Composites is the construction of high-end composite yachts and structures utilizing state of the art production methods. Vacuum assisted resin infusion and 5-axis computer cut (CNC) tooling are used to yield high strength composite structures with unmatched accuracy. Our infusion process produces strong, lightweight parts and provides an improved working environment in addition to being friendly to the external environment. All structural composite parts on our yachts are resin infused Corecell® cored laminates, including the hull, deck, pilothouse, bulkheads and hatches. Our team of craftsmen use their expertise to build our entire yachts in-house for our own discerning clientele.

We are located in beautiful Anacortes, Washington on Fidalgo Island in the San Juan Islands, which boasts some of the best cruising in the world. We strongly encourage our customers to cruise our beautiful islands with their new SanJuanYachts prior to shipping the vessel home.

Our yacht construction is headquartered in a brand new state of the art 65,000 square foot high-bay yacht construction facility. We are equipped with new modern machinery and equipment including two 60' x 25' x 16' state of the art paint spray booths, geared toward efficient, safe, environmentally friendly production. Our facility is located on 4.5 acres of paved and fenced property adjacent to the Anacortes waterfront and includes two 25,000 and one 12,000 square foot buildings for production and one 3,000 square foot yacht dry storage building.

We offer full sales, service and repair for our yachts throughout North America and make our technicians available for travel anywhere in the world, should the need arise. All boats delivered within North America will be accompanied with a SanJuanYachts technician to ensure the correct and timely launch and commissioning of the vessel as well as new customer orientation.

SanJuanYachts is pleased to announce the all new SanJuan48 IPS. Using Volvo's fantastic IPS propulsion system our yachts are faster, quieter, dramaticaly more fuel efficient and extremelly manouverable with joystick control. All with less horsepower! Our SanJuanYachts are built using our limited production business model which is a unique way for us to service demanding niche markets without sacrificing quality or compromising our core values. By producing small batches of highly engineered boats, we are able to remain small, flexible and adaptable to service the diverse needs of a wide range of customers. Mass-produced boats are about satisfying the needs of the manufacturer: Using cheaper materials, cheaper labor, and generally cutting corners. Limited production is all about the customer. It is about creating leading edge products that make competing brands look inferior, stale and outdated. We continually solve design issues that other manufacturers are not able or willing to tackle. We are constantly rethinking the details and refining our methods. Often times, customers don't realize how good a boat can be until they see one of ours.
