Samalot Marine is celebrating its 28th year of being in business. Barbara & George Samalot would like to thank the entire sailing community for their loyalty & continued patronage. Samalot Marine is located on the beautiful Hudson River. We offer complete services for sailors by a knowledgeable and professional staff.
LOCATION: Samalot Marine is located within the Haverstraw Marina on the western shore of the Hudson River just seven miles north of the Tappan Zee Bridge in Rockland County New york. The Haverstraw Marina is a state-of-the-art, almost 1000 slip complex nestled in a protected, deep water cove. With facilities for yachts from 15' to 150', it offers complete hauling services, launch ramp, and fuel. The modern aluminum docks are equipped with shore power, water, cable TV, and telephone. A restaurant, pool and tennis courts compliment the 60 acre site. Add Haverstraw Marina to your list of favorite destinations in the Northeast.
SERVICE: Samalot Marine offers a full variety of professional service. Our 15 ton crane will step masts up to 80'. We have a fully equipped sail loft with on staff sailmaker on the premises and are dealers for Doyle Sails. Samalot Marine is an authorized dealer for Yanmar diesel engines as well as a authorized Yamaha small engine outboard center. We offer furling installations with professional rigger on staff(authorized Furlex dealers), fiberglass repairs, engine repairs and repowers, all forms of rigging and many other services. Samalot Marine is a Raymarine Authorized service station with an excellent in house technician. Quality sailboat repairs are our goal.
SHIP'S STORE: Our Ship's Store provides everything for both power and sail. A full compliment of maintenance and cleaning items, Sperry Shoes, Harken gear, sailboat supplies, gift "boutique", Yanmar Parts, deli section with basic supplies and sundries, fresh coffee and rolls, safety equipment, and much, much more. The summer hours for the store are 8 to 6 Monday through Saturday. Sundays are 9 to 5.
