Moving to Florida in 1978, Curt Marsh, a former Indiana State Policeman, purchased a waterfront motel and ran a charter boat business on Siesta Key, Florida, thus becoming Capt. Curt. During the next eight years he started and ran several successful businesses including Capt. Curt’s Crab & Oyster Bar (still in business), a rental boat business and marine supply store. He retired in 1986, became bored and got into the yacht business. He spent the last twenty years owning and operating yacht sales and brokerage firms. He has also worked in new boat design and manufacturing. He is now specializing in assisting a few select customers in new and used yacht sales.
