Well it's Spring. Since the lake didn't freeze this year everyone wants their boat YESTERDAY! We are complying. We wanted to try to put up some news, events and photos of the yard at work. While most yards, marinas and yacht clubs are going through the craziness we are, we thought it would be fun to let ours visitors and interested parties see a bit of what is happening. We also would like to say Hello to some new friends and goodbye to some longtime friends and congratulations to some friends who have transitioned to new vessels.
Hello to Mike & Debbie Prosser who recently acquired their
Pacific Seacraft "Flicka" formerly owned by Ed Srp of EYC.
Mike & Debbie; seasoned cruisers, will be enjoying cruising the Northwest coast of N. America and Alaska this year and then off to New Zealand later. They said they would send postcards and photos to us and emails of their travels.
Hello to Mike Bur who acquired Penny Embury's Pearson 31 from LYC. Mike will be sailing out of the Huron River area and also offering his vessel for charter through Harbor North in Huron, Ohio. Have fun Mike!
To Al & Beth Mansfield, a Big Hello! Formerly owners of a Rhodes 21, have stepped up to an Ericson 35 and joined the Edgewater Yacht Club. They're very exicited and really great people. Congratulations to Dennis and Kathy Rose from Petosky, Michigan on the purchase of Their Tartan 37 "FAN T' SEA". They will be sailing the boat to Michigan in June. Denise and Jack O'Donnell and their two boys Conner and Kyle Seem to be really enjoying their SeaRay 370 Sundancer. We will get that icemaker working very soon guys. Have fun!
