If the time you have available for recreational boating is limited, but you still want to own your own boat, you can significantly reduce the cost of ownership by purchasing the boat of your dreams with others who share the same dream.
Reliant Marine finds partners with similar interests, builds a partnership and takes care of all the details.
This alternative serves those with other interests in their life (family activities, career obligations, hobbies, travel, etc.). It works best for boaters who will use their boat more than 3 weeks a year and/or want to limit use to only those with an ownership stake in the boat. Costs are reduced up to 85% compared to traditional yacht ownership.
And if you live inland, the larger boats also provide a place for you to stay at the beach.
An added benefit is the Ship Care professional yacht management and maintenance program.
Fractional owners will enjoy the convenience of having all regular boat maintenance done for you - you have only to enjoy the boat.
The well-executed preventive maintenance program will increase vessel reliability, safety, and eventual resale value. Owners spend their quality time on the water, not working on the boat.
Fractional owners will either place their current boat in the program or purchase a boat with others.
If you place your boat in the program you will receive instant cash upon formation of the partnership, a limited liability company (LLC).
Owners can chose any boat and keep it in any marina as long as it is within a serviceable distance from Wrightsville Beach or Morehead City, NC. Other locations are under consideration. Please inquire.
Fractional owner’s time is respected by having timely information available.

Reliant Marine serves as the owners’ registered agent. Owners receive bi-weekly inspection/status reports, quarterly financial statements, and participate in decision making as needed. Owners do not need to know each other and may meet once a year at the annual meeting.
