At Reichel Pugh Yachts, Steve Rock brings in thirty years experience as a yacht broker and a project manager in new yacht construction, nationally and overseas. Summer Twist, originally from the Bay Area, has spent nearly a decade at Europe's premiere sailing destination, Lake Garda, in Northern Italy. She has recently moved to San Diego and joined Reichel/Pugh Yacht Design and its Brokerage as the director of Sales, Marketing and Promotions.

42' McConaghy International Grand Prix 42

Reichel/Pugh Yacht Design is pleased to announce it's Grand Prix 42 design will be built in limited production by McConaghy International. McConaghy International is a joint Venture owned by McConaghy Boats, Australia & JinLi Composites, China.
The Reichel/Pugh GP42 will be constructed at McConaghy's new purpose built factory located one hour from Hong Kong. Mark Evans, the master boatbuilder at McConaghy Boats, will provide onsite supervision over the construction.
Reichel/Pugh has been a leader in developing high performance designs & promoting level class rules that encourage high performance. Reichel/Pugh is incorporating the latest design advances from its ongoing research & development projects into this Grand Prix 42 design. The Reichel/Pugh design studio is in the final stages of a comprehensive design study enabling McConaghy International to build a high tech GP42 that will be competitive for some seasons to come.
Our commitment is to develop the very fastest design & work with McConaghy International to acheive the goal of bringing to market the fastest Grand Prix 42 at a highly competitive price.
Based on a five boat order the price of a GP42 will be US$401,000.00 each complete with a carbon rig from King Composites of Argentina. This price is excluding freight from Hong Kong for the yacht & freight from Argentina for the rig. First boats will be available for delivery by the end of 2006.
This class will follow in the huge success of the Transpac52 box rule in which Reichel/Pugh designs have been successful. We anticipate worldwide interest in this new & exciting class.
