Hand-laid Knytex fiberglass construction with closed-cell PVC sandwich core used in topsides. Solid fiberglass below waterline with blister-resistant vinylester resin utilized on first two laminates below the waterline with Arimid fiber reinforcements.
Superstructure includes end-grain balsa core and Knytex surface mats for print-through reduction.
Teak aft and side decks. Boat and fore decks have GripTex non-skid finish. Bulwark has molded plank lines with gelcoat finish.
Polyurethane formulate marine sealants used at hull-to-deck, boat deck joints and
Marine-grade plywood bulkheads with molded fiberglass hat section stringers.
Teak veneer walls and cabinetry with satin varnish.
The saloon is entered from the covered aft deck through a single door, and is bright and airy. There are large opening (screened) windows port and starboard and an opening window on the aft bulkhead. All windows have custom teak blinds.
To starboard is an L-shaped settee with a teak table. There is an additional settee to Port. The settees have upgraded custom upholstery. Forward of the settee is a desk and bookshelf.
The U-shaped galley is located to starboard, forward of the saloon. The Corian® countertops offer plenty of space for preparing a gourmet meal and there is plenty of storage space. The primary components include:
The master stateroom features a queen-sized island berth, abundant storage and hanging locker space, mirrored dresser, 4 opening, screened ports and a large opening hatch. There is great light and ventilation and plenty of head room.
The head is to starboard, aft of the master stateroom. It has a separate stall shower with teak grate, Sealand VacuFlush® fresh water head (new duck-bill valves in 2013), opening, screened port and a Corian® topped vanity.
The pilothouse is located up and forward of the saloon/galley. There are doors port and starboard that lead to the full walk-around deck. The settee, with upgraded custom upholstery, offers excellent visibility and converts to a double berth. The helm is well thought-out. There is ample room for chart work as well as a USB connection for your laptop. There is an opening port that also serves as a pass-through to the flybridge. In addition there are two overhead hatches for ventilation underway or at anchor.
