Entering the saloon through the welded aluminum water tight door with Clear View retractable screen from the fully covered aft deck there is a convertable settee with storage under to port and an L-shaped settee with Hi-Lo table to starboard. There are large opening windows port and starboard, and in the aft bulkhead, each with screens, drapes, and teak valances.  Wall to wall carpeting installed throughout the boat since she was new has kept the teak parquet floors in pristine condition.

The open-faced galley is located forward of the saloon on the starboard side. There is generous counter and storage space making meal preparation a pleasure while allowing the cook to be included in the saloon activities.

The large master stateroom is forward of the pilothouse. There is a queen-size island berth, 2 hanging lockers, mirrored and lighted dresser.  Additional storage is provided by generous under-berth drawers and under bed storage accessed with pneumatic lifts. Five stainless steel opening ports and an overhead hatch with screens provide wonderful light and ventialtion.

The head is aft of the stateroom on the starboard side. There is a household size Sealand VacuFlush freshwater head, stall shower with aluminum and glass bi-fold door, vanity with mirrored medicine chest and stainless steel opening port for natural light and ventilation.

The pilothouse is a large open and airy room.  Visibility is excellent as is access to exterior decks. There are weathertight welded aluminum Dutch doors port and starboard with Clear View retractable screens which, combined with a stainless steel aft bulkhead port provide plenty of natural ventilation. The settee allows for guests to keep the captain company and also converts to a double berth for overnight guests.  For working or eating underway there is also a custom teak table at the pilothouse settee that removes to pull the berth out.  Additional teak starage racks for books are placed throughout the pilothouse.

One of the unique features of the Krogen 39' is the stand-up engine room. Primary access is from a walk-thru door at the landing from the pilothouse steps, aft of the stateroom. All systems are readily accesible. There is also a workbench with storage and overhead lighting.
