The vessel can be boarded from midship port or starboard gates while on a fixed dock or from a molded staircase on the stern leading up to the aft cockpit deck. With her near 19 foot beam, she offers very wide and secure non-skid walk around decks with oversized stainless steel railings. The aft deck offers seating for at least six on a molded transom upholstered bench with a slide out rectangular high gloss table on a hi-lo pedestal. A wet bar with refrigerator, stainless steel sink with storage cabinet is to port.
A set of engines, bow and stern thruster controls are hidden in a cabinet to starboard on the aft deck making this yacht a breeze to dock in any conditions.
From the aft deck, the swim platform is down via a wide molded setoff stairs with grab rails or up to the flybridge via another non-skid finished molded staircase. Each step is illuminated making it easy to board at night.
Entry into the Salon is through a large stainless steel framed sliding door. An inviting L-shaped leather sofa is to port. Two barrel chairs are to starboard next to the entertainment center, aft on the starboard side. The large oval shaped windows (four on each side) along with the aft bulkhead glass wall fill the space with natural day light and offer great visibility for all aboard.
Forward of the salon to port is the galley with granite countertops, full size appliances, a double stainless steel undermounted sink and abundant amount of cabinets and drawers. A large buffet with matching granite top and nine drawers is across the galley to starboard. Forward and open to the galley is the formal dining area for at least six on a wrap-around U-shaped seating with a custom rectangular high gloss table. This Country Kitchen galley/dining room space offers wide open views with the wrap-around windows forward. A watertight door to starboard allows quick access to the starboard side deck.
A wide curved staircase with clear acrylic grab rail to starboard allows access to the three owners/guest en suite staterooms down below. Halfway down the stairs is the entrance to the VIP stateroom forward and a beautiful illuminated art nook. The VIP cabin features a centerline island berth, two large cedar lined hanging lockers, built-in color TV and many storage cabinets. The private VIP head has a large separate stall shower, custom marble floor and a Royal Flush freshwater head by Head Hunter.
Down a few more steps to port is the entrance to the twin berth guest stateroom. Several drawers under the side-by-side twin berths and overhead storage cabinets as well as a large cedar lined locker offer more storage than expected. A color TV with DVD player is mounted above. A private access is within this cabin to the head compartment which doubles as the day head with a large separate stall shower. Across from the day head, at centerline and under the curved stairway, is the walk-in laundry center with full size washer, dryer and storage cabinets.
The full beam master stateroom is midship. The centerline king bed has two night stands and custom overhead ceiling with indirect lighting. Two large dressers are both port and starboard forward of a matching set of hanging cedar lined closets. An additional walk-in closet is to port and the master head is accessed to starboard. It offers granite countertops with two sinks, two mirrored medicine cabinets and an enormous shower with built-in seat. A color TV with DVD is in a cabinet forward at center.
The flybridge accessed from the aft deck is highly customized with an island bar located in the middle that houses an under counter refrigerator/ice maker combo, stainless steel sink and electric BBQ grill. There are four custom leather covered bar stools around this island wet bar that were upgraded in 2010.
This 65 Neptunus also has a custom factory built hardtop with an oversized electric sunroof and full enclosure. The mast at the center of the hardtop was custom built for all the electronics and also folds down to reduce overhead clearance under 21 feet to allow transit from New York to the Great Lakes via the Erie barge canal system. Also has found to be very useful in the southern Florida area. The custom leather Stidd Captain's helm chair at center has two matching helm chairs each side with covers that also were upgraded in 2010. The aft section of the flybridge has loose seating for four and an 800 pound capacity davit. The flybridge is air conditioned and heated by (2) 16,000 BTU units new January 2009.
