This Charles Wittholz design was launched in 2005 and has been used as a coastal passenger charter boat. She has a current US Coast Guard certificate for 49 passengers that was recertified in the Fall of 2012. Her systems are in almost new conditiuon and her John Deere 175 HP diesel has less than 1,000 hours. Her bottom was blasted, primed and painted in October 2012 and is in excellent condition. As a private yacht or a charter boat this is a solid handsome boat that can take her and her crew anywhere on the planet. She has a low maintenance finish on deck with almost no wood to maintain. The interior is Yacht finish with great attention to detail. The hull deck and cabin house are steel, the spars are aluminum. She is being sold due to the passing of her owner who was also her builder and master. Also see spiritofindependence.net for more photos.

The good captain is an engineer and has been custom building his own boats since he was 12 years old. He has turned boats into pink limousines and this pirate ship made from a 29 foot Carolina Skiff is his latest creation. He has another limo and another larger pirate ship underway. If you have interest in those, by all means send a message. The engine is a 2009 115 Yamaha 4 STROKE. She sips fuel and will provide you a very nice bottom line for taking your tours out. 20 inch max draft with engine down for taking your guests just about anywhere.
There is a treasure barrel that doubles as a porta potty. She is very light weight. Also the masts are telescopic which can get you under just about any bridge. Those are antique lamps on each side of her bow taken from an old Danish ship that washed up with Hurricane Hugo. The floors aren't dirty everything is painted to look authentic. El Torro means The Fox, after the Captain's name. It is a foam filled extreme floatation hull. Handles beautifully. Sea Trial with offers. Interested in having one built for you just let me know.
