Master Shipright Peter Little has been working aboard this vessel March / April 2014 and finds her in very good condition. 

His qualifications:

 

  • Master Builder of the S/V Denis Sullivan - 137' 3-masted Great Lakes Schooner in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Ran overall operations, administered 11 full-time employees, and supervised a volunteer force of 250 people.
  • Built 68' Schooner Thomas E Lannon in Essex, Massachusetts. This was the first new Schooner built in Essex in 50 years, on the same site that had built over 5,000 vessels since 1679.
  • Refinished all exterior woodwork in 63' Palmer JohnsonFalcon.
  • Rebuilt 56' Sea Ray Flybridge Cruiser. Completely rebuilt from the deck up, including decks, house, fly bridge, and interior cabinetry. Built all male moulds to construct superstructure.
  • Conversion of a 36' Kiekhaefer Marine offshore racer. Redesigned vessel to a center cockpit walkaround. Repowered with twin Yamaha Sea Drives. Custom cherry joiner work.
  • 1954 34' Hinckley off shore Sloop. Complete rebuild, including replacement of frames, floors, planks, and stringers. All new salon cabinetry and joiner work. Built all new transom.
  • 1965 36' Grand Banks Trawler. Reframed and planked 18' aft sections / port and starboard topsides.
  • 1929 43' Alden Schooner Allegro. Complete midship port and starboard rebuild, including planks, frames, floors, and longitudinal stringers. Built new custom interior.
