Our Team
Having grown up in a boating family, spending summers boating and fishing throughout the Northeast, I knew early on that my future would revolve around boating. After working at several boatyards throughout high school and college, I decided to put my knowledge and boating experience to use and look for a job in the yacht sales industry. One of the first places I investigated, due to their reputation and experience, was Russo Marine. I was brought aboard the Russo team in February 2000, as the Sales Representative of their Quincy location. During my years at Russo’s, I have received sales awards from Carver Yachts and have completed sales training programs with Boston Whaler, Carver, Chaparral, Rampage, Riviera, Robalo and Sea Ray. I have owned several boats and can relate to my customers and their boating lifestyle. Whether it’s a $10k starter boat or a $1M yacht, I treat every customer equally throughout the process.
I don’t think I’ve ever considered this a job – it’s really just been my life. I’ve done everything in this business, from painting bottoms and changing oil, to installing engines and electronics, to selling boats, to now running the daily operations of this complex organization. Although I have a Finance and Management degree from Merrimack College, there has been no better school than real life - learning the lessons passed from generation to generation in a family business. I enjoy working with my family everyday, and that family includes our 50+ employees. My never-ending goal is to keep Russo Marine a profitable company that is made up of happy employees who produce exceptional results for our customers.
