Sailing has always been a very integrated part of my life starting with small wooden boats in 1946 when sailing was permitted again in Denmark.

Professionally, I have a master's degree in electronics engineering, I have worked with many other technologies as well, I have a bachelor degree in economics, and I have worked with sales, marketing and market research for many years, in practice as well as a consultant. For 15 years I played a very important role in the Danish Marketing Association.
