PASSAGE YACHT SALES' Principal owner is Mike Sellwood working in the Maple Bay Office.
Mike Sellwood born in Wirral, Cheshire, England. Served as Navigator in the British Merchant Navy for 8 years, taking him around the world eleven times. Leaving his last ship, M.V. Stolt Llandaff, in New York to live in Canada in 1973. Arriving, Edmonton in November, five feet of snow & -20F ( not a happy camper) working for various companies, trying to figure out how he could sail the prairies for twenty years! 1993 He finally figured it out! "Go West Young Man" to the Land of Golfing & Sailing year round! :))))))))) "Passage Yachts" gave him the desires he yearned for, talking to people of different Races & Creeds and the satisfaction of fulfilling peoples life long dreams of "Retiring" & Sailing away to sometimes not to distant places & "Relaxing"
John Marchant - Yacht Broker - Maple Bay Office
John started sailing at the age of six and has been sailing, racing and cruising for over forty years. John spent several seasons on the Canadian National Team, sailing a Tornado. He holds many local, national and international sailing titles including a World's Championship. John has raced Sharks, International E22's, Stars and many IOR and PHRF rated keel boats. John's experience includes ten years on the BC coast in a twin-screw powerboats to fifty feet as well as Atlantic and Caribbean offshore experience in sailboats to fifty-five feet.
John has been a resident of Maple Bay for ten years. He has worked as a Yacht Broker in the area for two years, following a previous career as a mechanical design engineer.
