Meet the PARADIGM Staff
Pat Roush comes from the Bluegrass state of Kentucky. Pat's boating experience began on the lakes of Kentucky and evolved to include the Ohio River. The river became a weekend retreat for Pat, his wife Debbie and son Chris. This allowed him to own and operate vessels from 30 to 70 feet in length. In 1993 Pat and Debbie sold their business, purchased a 42' Grand Banks trawler and headed to Florida. They traveled for over a year and then purchased a home on the water in Cape Coral, Florida.Pat became a manufacturer's representative for Jefferson Yachts, initially starting in new boat sales and moving into brokerage. Working in brokerage gave him the opportunity to represent a greater variety of boats and meet a wider spectrum of clientele who also share the love of boating. In 2003 Pat opened the present Paradigm office in Cape Coral.

My name is Dick Stith and I started boating solo at 12 years of age and have never lost my passion for being on the water.
All through my working years operating a steel fabrication business, boating has remained my number one past time. I did fit in time to attain a Coast Guard Master to 100 tons, an airplane private pilot license, and open water dive certification and a real estate license.
I am a past commander of the Louisville Sail and Power Squadron.
I have boated the waters of the Ohio River from Cincinnati to Paducah, Kentucky Lake , Lake Barkley, the Cumberland River and Old Hickory Lake as well as some limited experience in the coastal waters of Southwest Florida.
I have owned numerous boats, RIBS and personal watercraft.
Please use my experience in selecting the boat that is just right for you or in helping you sell your present boat.
Captain Dick Stith
USCG Master 100GRT (ret)

Unlike a lot of brokers that you meet, I do not come from boating family, nor did I grow up on a boat.
In my early twenties I was stationed in the Mediterranean serving in Her Majesty’s armed forces and was given the opportunity to sail a Swan sailboat with some colleagues from Gibraltar up the coast of Spain and across the straits to North Africa, along the coast of North Africa to Tangier, Morocco and back to Gibraltar. While sailing in hurricane strength winds, it was at this point that I realized that I wanted to pursue a career in the marine industry as a civilian.
Years later after leaving the army and travelling around the world, I ended up in Florida where I met my lovely wife Lynn of twenty plus years. We spent about four years living in Marathon in the Florida Keys. I took a job working at Marathon Marina as a yard hand, building Ballyhoo fishing boats, restoring old boats, and ended running the travel lift for a couple of years.
After living in the Keys for four years, Lynn and I started talking about starting a family and discussing our future. My interest in boats had grown stronger. I was maturing and started thinking about how I would support a family; I wanted to start using my mind more than using my hands. So it was then I turned to sales and moved from the boat yard to an office in Fort Myers, Florida in 1998.
I currently reside on the other side of the river from Fort Myers with Lynn and two fantastic children, Tara and Jack.
I started my brokerage career in 1998, I am proud to represent Paradigm Yachts in Cape Coral, Florida. They are a well established brokerage house and their commitment to customer satisfaction is second to none. My passion for boats and yachts has grown stronger and, just like the old saying goes, find something you love and you will never work another day in your life.
