John Roy
President/Owner
John started with Ocean Yacht Sales in 1980, and in 1990 he purchased the company.
He has sold hundreds of boats and still enjoys working with buyers to help them find their perfect boat.
John is a World Class Etchells Sailor. He was 9th at the 1998 Worlds, he is a World Class J-24 Sailor, and a two time National Champion.
He is also an experienced ocean racer, with many Marblehead to Halifax races under his belt, and is a 2 time Class Winner.
He served as the Vice Commodore of Sailing at the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron, and also spent many enjoyable years teaching and coaching sailing. He was also an Instructor Evaluator for the CYA.
He received a BA in Economics from Dalhousie University, and his hobbies include family outings, music, skiing, and Racing Sailboats!!!!!
Michelle Hamlin
Office Manager
Michelle has just recently joined Ocean Yacht Sales team, and is a positive and enthusiastic addition to the office.
She is from a small but quaint Acadian fishing community in Digby County, Nova Scotia called Clare.
She is fluent in both French and English.
She has obtained a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and a Certificate in Human Resources Management from Saint Mary's University.
She enjoys hobbies such as: swimming, outdoor activities, and music.
Jean-Guy Leclerc

Jean-Guy has obtained a BBA from University of Moncton.
He is a very successful past business owner, who has been sailing for 30 years.
He can be found on the docks in Shediac, NB working on his Hunter 40.5.
