Welcome to NW Explorations based in beautiful Bellingham, Washington with the San Juan and Gulf Islands at our doorstep. Not only are we a yacht brokerage, we are the world's only authorized Grand Banks charter fleet with 17 Grand Banks available. This offers a unique opportunity for our customers to charter one of these lovely vessels, but also allows you to do a try before you buy.
The company has been in business since 1978 and was purchased by two enthusiastic Grand Banks owners with a passion for customer service and boating. Broker Scott Blake has been selling Grand Banks (new and used) for over 18 years, has owned a number of Grand Banks over the years, and presently owns a 46' Grand Banks Classic. Joining them is Ken Bowles, also and enthusiastic GB owner currently on his second, a 42 Grand Banks Classic.
NW Explorations also offers three day powerboat training courses including women only courses. You can attend a weekend course or hire a skipper to personally train you while on your own charter boat.
Our main office is at Gate 3 in Squalicum Harbor. Ken serves the Central and South Sound market from his base in Seattle. Please come visit us if you are looking to buy, sell, or charter a Grand Banks or other quality cruiser.
