OVERVIEW

These fabulous, very capable, dry, stable and extremely safe Lobster Cruisers, have been built by Steve Law, Master Builder and owner of SeaWorthy Marine, since 2000.

In the past eight years, a total of 52 boats have been launched, and there have been absolutely no structural or mechanical issues with a single one. So, if you are currently exploring your options among DownEast builders, please consider a new 28' SeaWorthy, with 315hp Yanmar power.

(The prices indicated below are valid as of the above date. Material costs and other construction expenses not under the control of the builder, may increase or decrease this estimate. Projected build time is approximately eight to ten weeks after hull and house arrive at shop in Kennebunk.)

STANDARD EQUIPMENT

*Hull: solid fiberglass, white or gray gelcoat finish; white cored lobster style or full house with white interior gelcoat finish
*Windows: rubber-set fixed windows; open starboard side
*Running Gear: PSS shaft seal; SS shaft; SS rudder; bronze 4-blade propeller; two 65 gallon welded polypropylene fuel (diesel only - gas tanks are aluminum)
*Decks: 1” plywood deck glassed, sealed with non-skid applied; SS cleats and chocks; bow spray rail; quarter guard spray rails; PVC edge combing; PVC handrails on cabin and house tops; scuppers with anti-backwash flaps
*Safety: USCG approved navigation lights.
*Engine: Yanmar 6LTA-STP 315hp Diesel Engine with pleasure duty 2-year warranty.
*Transmission: ZF 630A Gear 2:1 reduction; 1-yr warranty.
