Berth Nabila
The Berth, Nabila takes its name from one of the most famous and historical super yachts built during the early 80’s. In 1978 a businessman, Agnar Khashoggi commissioned the world’s biggest leisure yacht and approached the iconic manufacturer, Benetti. This revolutionary 86 metre super yacht consisted of five decks, three elevators and a twelve seat home cinema. The yacht was launched in 1980, taking the name of his daughter, Nabila. After the launch the decision was made to berth the yacht in the Marina at Puerto Banus in Southern Spain. The berth offered privacy, security and an alongside helicopter pad together with the splendor and panoramic views of the marina. The berth that was home to this vessel later became well known as “Berth Nabila”. Since the departure of this historical yacht, the demand and ever increasing size of today’s super yachts, has made the berth and marina even more popular destination for the elite. “Berth Nabila” is the largest leisure berth in southern Spain and has accommodated for some of the world’s most prestigious super yachts.
