NNYS Earns National Recognition

NAUTICAL NEEDS YACHT SALES RECEIVES NATIONAL ENDORSEMENT
The National Yacht Broker Certification (CPYB) program announced today that Nautical Needs Yacht Sales has received the “CPYB Endorsed Brokerage” designation. This prestigious recognition honors those brokerage firms that are committed to the highest standards of the industry and who support their brokers’ investment in attaining and maintaining their CPYB certification.
To qualify for this designation the brokerage firm has to meet a rigorous set of qualifications that include: the brokerage firm’s Broker of Record must have received the CPYB designation, all other eligible brokers/salespersons must be in the process of obtaining the CPYB designation, and those brokers who are not yet eligible must apply to the CPYB program and attend yearly continuing education activities that focus on the yacht brokerage industry.
Since its initiation in 2002, the Certified Professional Yacht Broker (CPYB) program has certified over 375 professional yacht brokers throughout the U.S. and Canada. Developed and managed by the Yacht Brokers Association of America (YBAA) in partnership with, the Florida Yacht Brokers Association (FYBA), the Northwest Yacht Broker Association (NYBA), the California Yacht Brokers Association (CYBA), and the Ontario Yacht Brokers Association (OYBA), the CPYB program is dedicated to setting the standard for industry professionalism. Eligible, experienced yacht brokers must meet the application criteria and successfully pass a three-hour written examination.
