This new S-Yachts range of fine sailing yachts, for both racing and cruising, are built by J & M W Yachts, a division of one of the largest production boat builders in Northern Europe who are currently producing over 2000 boats a year.

The S-Yachts series consists of 5m, 7m, 8.5m and 9.5m models, each with a lifting or swing keel, making the boats ideal for exploring East Coast shoal waters.

The yachts are fitted out to a high quality, have a variety of deck equipment, are comfortable and have perfect sailing properties.

The smaller models are easily trailerable, and the yachts come with standard aluminium masts which are deck mounted enabling them to be raised and lowered with blocks and frame which is ideal, if you are looking for a 'trailer sailer'. Furthermore, the S-850 and S-950 models both come with inboard motors.

The S-Yachts S-950 is here, having made its UK debut at the Southampton Boat Show in 2010.

The S-950 comes with an outstandingly high quality finish including oak woodwork and a beautifully fitted kitchen. At 9.5 metres long and with an impressive 51 square metres of sail area, the S-950 is equipped for all occasions. This model also has an inboard engine and fixed shallow keel and swing keel made from stainless steel.

EC Certification is Category B (5 Persons) and Category C (8 Persons). There are many hull colour choices available, with four colour choices as standard. Although the yacht comes comprehensively equipped, there are many options available to tailor the yacht to your preferences.

The S-850 offers a double skin in hull and deck reducing the condensation in the cabin therefore providing a comfortable climate all year round. The swing keel and pivoting rudder allow you to reach those shallow areas that many vessels of a similar size cannot.

The S-700 is a luxurious and elegant sailing yacht with a lifting keel which gives versatility in coastal waters. There is a variety of deck equipment, comfortable interior and perfect sailing properties.

The S-700 comes complete with a sea toilet, water system for the sink and two gas burners for cooking. Oak woodwork and high quality upholstery makes the cabin a cosy and functional interior. It is a very dynamic and stylish unit. The S-700 also offers the option of being trailable.

The S-500 is a modern Micro Tonner from Poland and has a cabin forward, but a wide open dinghy-style cock-pit with toe straps for three people hiking.

Both the keel and rudder lift vertically to leave a completely flush bottom that allows the boat to dry out on a mooring.

The S-500 is powered by a fully battened main sail and has a retractable bowsprit with a generously sized asymmetric spinnaker to speed the boat off wind.

The S-500 is a 16’ lifting keel suitable for a racing or day sailing.
