Northrop & Johnson Asia was formed in 2010 to create the only truly world class leading yacht brokerage with a full presence across Asia. We have offices in Hong Kong and Singapore and representatives based in Thailand and The Philippines.

Northrop & Johnson Asia brings together a wealth of experienced yacht brokers that have been working across the Asia region for over 20 years. Now, allied to the whole Northrop & Johnson Group worldwide, we can bring an unrivaled service for both the sale and purchase of yachts to our clients across Asia.

The Northrop & Johnson Group

Our alliances and industry network, provides Northrop and Johnson's clients with broad representation of their yachts in every major yachting centre ...

Shortly after World War II Jim Northrop and George Johnson formed a partnership to provide a quality yacht brokerage service to their close circle of yachting companions on Long Island Sound. The first office opened in 1949 at 366 Madison Avenue in lower Manhattan and served as the foundation for the fledging brokerage that was soon to expand into one of the largest and most respected yacht brokerages in the world. Northrop and Johnson's Yankee heritage was reflected in the company's reputation for honesty, integrity, and fair play.

Northrop and Johnson's reputation as the "Gentlemen Brokers" spread quickly in the tightly knit New York yachting community and by the early 1960's the company expanded with branch offices in Stamford, CT, Miami, FL, and Marblehead, MA. In 1971 Kees Van Vliet opened the first US Yacht Brokerage office in Europe in Cannes, France. By the late 70's there were additional offices in Newport, RI, Puerto Buenos, Spain and St. Petersburg, FL.

During the 70's and 80's Northrop and Johnson became the premier large yacht brokerage in the United States. Many of the industry's most recognizable names began their careers at Northrop and Johnson. Today Northrop and Johnson is recognized at every major yachting venue throughout the world.

Northrop and Johnson now has seven offices located in Ft. Lauderdale, Boston, Newport, San Diego, Palma, Spain, Hong Kong and Singapore. Our alliances and network, provide Northrop and Johnson's clients with broad representation of their yachts in every major yachting centre and provide Northrop and Johnson brokers with vital information and valuable shore side support. Northrop and Johnson is the first major yacht brokerage to integrate their services with likeminded brokerage's whose business practices are in alignment with Northrop and Johnson's history of service to the yachting community. Northrop and Johnson and their affiliate offices continue to do business in the Yankee tradition putting honesty and integrity above the bottom line quest for maximizing profit.

JUST REDUCED!

Anne, a Grand Banks 41 Heritage EU is for sale and this is the perfect opportunity to purchase an 'as new' Grand Banks in mint condition.

About The Boat:

At first look, the 41 Heritage EU is everything you expect in a Grand Banks. Refined nautical style, intelligent design, meticulous attention to detail. A master stateroom with queen berth and a generous guest cabin provide ample room for two couples. Contemporary furnishings and decor blend with GB's classic teak joinery, enhancing the sense of luxury. Wide side decks, an expansive flybridge and a host of other features inside and out promise to make the 41 EU the idea cruiser for any avid boater.

This yacht, in its own unique way is unlike any Grand Banks that have been previously built. Powered by the Zeus propulsion system, the 41EU delivers unparalleled control, speed and efficiency. Dock with pinpoint accuracy, hold a rock steady position in wind and current with the Skyhook feature, travel faster and farther while using less fuel. Today's most advanced marine propulsion system, joined with a modified deep V-hull design and immpeccably executed fiberglass construction, combine together to deliver a revolutionary new level of performance at both planing and semi-displacement speeds.

ABOUT THE HERITAGE SERIES

Grand Banks launched an icon when the Heritage Series was introduced nearly 50 years ago. It remains widely regarded as one of the most successful cruising yacht designs ever built - one that Grand Banks continues to refine and enhance for a new generation of owners. Todays Heritage models distinguish themselves as much for speed and performance as their timeless lines and lengendary reliability.

PERFORMANCE

Owners describe the sensation at the helm of the 41 EU as stable, steady and supremely responsive. Grand Bank's reputation for a superior cruising experience is one built from the bottom up - literally, starting with an expertly designed and constructed hull.

The 41 EU's modified deep-V design is no exception. Many subtle featrues contribute to the low trim angle, great visibilty and comfortable ride: the dual-chine hull gets you swiftly up on a plane, while the flared bow helps keep things dry on deck. More rake in the bow angle and the shallower forefoot make for a softer, more comfortable entry of the hull into the rough waters. Pleacment and size of the keel keeps her solidly on track.

Just as important as the design of her hull is its construction - a time tested process that is renowned for producing seaworthy, long lasting boats. The highest quality fiberglass fabrics are expertly hand laid and laminated with resin selected for their ability to resist blistering. Both the hull bottom and topsides are cored, using cross linked closed-cell foam to prevent water intrusion.

This is complemented by Grand Bank's use of clear gel below the waterline which allows for a thourough and rigerous visual inspection of the laminate during the QC process. Aditionally the hull bottom recieves three layers of epoxy barrier coat, which dramatically reduces the chance of osmosis. A close look at any Grand Banks hull will reveal a beautiful, mirror-like gel coat finish that is built to look new for many years to come.

Anne is for sale after a year of very enjoyable use by her current owner. The owner is now ready to move to a larger hull due to the need to entertain larger numbers of people aboard. This means the yacht is available at a very new condition. The boat has receieved meticulous care, attention and maintenance by a full time Captain and no budget has been considered when it has come to servicing and maintenance including a regular service for the engines.

A viewing of this spectacular mtor yacht is highly recommended.
