Welcome to Mystic River Marina

On the west side of Masons Island, located on the east shore of the Mystic River, is the Mystic River Marina. A family owned and operated business begun in 1958 by the late Eugene Garbarino and brother Fred, today the Mystic River Marina is operated by Gene’s sons Bob and Skip Garbarino. Joining the second generation team is Lauren Yakaitis, Bob's daughter. Bob expresses that the operation at Mystic River is a "family friendly business", and customers are treated to this atmosphere.

Mystic River Marina has 163 slips occupied by many long term customers. The marina also welcomes transients who together with the long term slip users enjoy the location of this deep water marina and its many amenities including a pool, head and showers, restaurant and a laundry. The marina also has fuel for both diesel and gas boats, as well as pump out facilities. Taxi services, as well as a shuttle bus are available for travel to downtown Mystic which is but 2 miles from Mystic River Marina. Mystic offers a variety of shops, restaurants and churches for several denominations. Close by is Stonington Vineyards, and the Foxwood and Mohegan Sun Casinos. Travel to the casinos by car or taxi is approximately 20 minutes.
