The Mahe 36 is the latest edition to the Fountaine Pajot range, She will be a full offshore cruiser (Cat A Ocean) and will combine all of the proven innovations that have made her larger sisters such a success over the last 30 years.
Unlike the competition, she is all fusion-composite built, resulting in one of the strongest and stiffest offshore cruisers. Innovative features such as same level cockpit and saloon, hugh double sliding cockpit doors, a new high gloss maple interior make her an ideal light and airy live-aboard cruiser.

Fountaine Pajot Lavezzi 40:
This new model emphasises yet again the technological and architectural lead of Fountaine Pajot, the world's leading builder of cruising catamarans. The saloon and cockpit are open to each other with large sliding door and window making for remarkable ventilation and easy use of the galley whether you wish to eat inside or outside. The centrally-accessed cockpit features a rest area close to the helm station as well as a dining area, with comfortable seating for eight people.
The Lavezzi sail plan is generous with an upwind area of 90 m2 and the genoa winches are laid out to keep the cockpit as clear as possible. As a result, the Lavezzi 40 can be maneuvered by one person with ease. The LAVEZZI 40 is very reassuring to sail. Her performance is close to that of the Belize 43 and will clock up 24-hour daily averages of 175-180 miles.
Downwind, she easily reaches surfing speeds of 13 to 15 knots.The cockpit layout is well designed, with the window and service hatch to the left of the saloon entrance door makes the whole space more convivial.
The saloon is light and spacious, the glass door makes the saloon bigger and easy to air. As for the cabins, they are very comfortable, featuring beds 2 metres long by 1.50 metres wide with lots of cupboard space.
Fountaine Pajot Orana 44
Fountaine Pajot has announced the launch of the new Orana 44 to replace the exceptional Belize 43 sailing catamaran. Designed by Joubert/Nivelt, the Orana 44 will be available for delivery in early 2008 and is perfect for high-performance ocean sailing or modified for charter operations. Sporting a high degree of comfort, the Orana 44 has a low centre of gravity to afford maximum safety and with a generous 110 square feet of sail, the catamaran can easily sail in medium wind conditions effectively reducing engine use. New manufacturing technologies employed in the vessel include a single piece hull infused with composite partitions and a deckhouse constructed with RTM eco-technology.
An innovative sliding bay provides direct open-plan access between the spacious saloon and cockpit, enhancing safety and easy of movement.The Orana ergonomic helm station accommodates three people and groups all navigational manoeuvres together affording excellent visibility above the deckhouse. A sunbathing deck aft of the catamaran features two mattresses with deck-chair style adjustments for optimal comfort.The Orana luminous interior comprises a light and airy kitchen that opens onto the cockpit, a beautiful saloon table that seats eight people with panoramic views, as well as a card table that faces the sea.Each of the four cabins aboard the Orana 44 enjoys its own private bathroom with separate shower. The Owner’s suite in the Maestro version is fitted with an Island bed, while the two supplementary cabins have semi-island style beds.
Fountaine pajot SALINA 48
The Salina 48 has been launched to replace one of Fountaine Pajot’s greatest successes, the Bahia 46 sailing catamaran.Retaining the most popular features of the Bahia 46, the Salina 48 has been designed to the most demanding list of specifications by architects Berret/Racoupeau.
Available for delivery in early 2008, the Salina 48 is an extremely capable catamaran that is ideally suited to offshore sailing with an emphasis on comfort, safety and spaciousness. Its length (48'/14.30 m) gives it a slender shape with a very low centre of gravity for optimal comfort and safety at sea while Its 136 m2 sail plan performs very effectively without any pitch in more choppy conditions. With a clean and obstacle-free deck, the Salina 48 affords easy movement and safe handling with an integrated saloon and cockpit that has generous entry access. There is ample room at the raised helm station to accommodate three people and all manoeuvring is conveniently controlled from this one central location.
The Salina 48 has been manufactured with new technology including an infused sandwich composite hull plus a deckhouse moulded with new RTM eco-technology. The catamaran is ideal for convivial entertaining with its social areas comprising a card table facing the sea, an L-shaped kitchen featuring a revolutionary new refrigeration system, an indoor and outdoor dining table plus exterior corner lounge. A decadent sunbathing deck at the aft of the Salina 48 enjoys exceptional protection from the elements while underway and provides yet another idyllic setting for relaxation. Each of the cabins boast magnificent sea views from the spacious portholes while the low beds, private bathrooms with separate showers and passageways without thresholds enhance the vessel’s appeal.
The Salina 48 is available in two versions; The Quatuor version comprises four cabins and four bathrooms while the Maestro version has a private owner’s suite separate to the guest accommodation.
Fountaine Pajot Eleuthera 60:
With her majestic lines, a sumptuous saloon and spacious cabins she belongs to the luxury yacht category. At first sight, she is distinguished, elegant and innovative with her harmonizing colors and materials. Our new vessel well deserved a name echoing freedom and heavenly cruising. It was designed with increased volume in the hulls which accommodates a full sized, walk-around, Island berth aft. The cockpit now offers one level, walk-around comfort to the back deck and steps. This stunning vessel can be ordered with different layouts. The maestro version 3 cabins/3 heads owners yacht or 4 variations of either a 4 cabin/4 heads or 5 cabin/5 heads yacht.
Designed by European architectural firm Berret-Racoupeau, the Eleuthera 60 has been designed with long-term comfort in mind to cater for private owners’ use, large families or crew, and private charters for up to twelve people. Some of the Eleuthera 60’s most distinctive design advantages include improved facility of movement aboard, as well as excellent luminosity with large picture windows affording unmatched visibility and light. Wider hulls have resulted in the addition of larger cabins and island beds. There are two distinctly separate living spaces in the dining room and raised saloon with stylish furnishings and design. A convivial galley is located between the dining area and the cockpit and is able to be hidden if needed.
The catamaran’s performance is second to none with ease of manoeuvring for short-handed crew with an electric mainsail winch fitted as standard, plus a generous sail area with fully battened mainsail and roller-furling genoa. The foredeck walkway also serves as an unstayed spar for the furling gennaker and several power systems are also available depending on the sailing programme.
