BRIER PATCH has been rigorously maintained at the Merritt yard and is a fine example of a pristine 58' Merritt. Well known for her extensive travels and fishing abilities, this 58' is rigged with the best commercial grade electronics available and includes Simrad Side Scanning sonar, the latest in 'glass bridge' technology with the Simrad GB-60.Continual maintenance included all exterior varnish stripped to bare wood and recoated, built-up with over 20 coats all around,Jan. 2007. Complete Caterpillar 3000 hour engine service Jan. 2008.New High Pressure fuel rails on both engines Jan. 2008. New Walker Air-Seps January 2007. Turbos rebuilt Jan. 2007. After coolers cleaned and serviced Jan. 2008.Boat has fresh water flush system for engine raw water so when it sits, engines are flushed with fresh water. AC raw water system also has fresh water flush. Air Condition system raw water pumps rebuilt Jan. 2008, all new duct-work for A/C Dec. 2007. Head pumps rebuilt annually, most recently, Jan 2008. New Exhaust Risors and cans Jan. 2008. Owner has been diligent with keeping boat in top working order, if it's broken or needs attention so boat does not miss service days-fix it.
