As a sales and service yard, McMichael Yacht Yard specializes in estimating and repairing survey adjustments required to close a sale promptly.

All boats displayed are McMichael Central Listings and they are shared with other brokerage companies to maximize exposure to buyers.

Your boat will be on display in our yard and benefit from the increased exposure to boat buyers. McMichael Yacht Brokers will be the central listing broker. As the Central Listing Broker, we will list your boat on the World Wide Web sites: YachtCouncil.com, McMichaelYachtBrokers.com, YachtWorld.com, MarineSource.com and various boating publications. It will also be available for co-brokerage with over 800 yacht brokers through the professional multi-list service YachtCouncil.

Note:We offer two sales plans (Summer and Winter). The rates are different for each and there is a credit toward winter storage if you paid the summer rate and stay for that winter.

The McMichael sales and service departments are open year round.

Summer Sales Plan.

Cost $12.48/ft. Includes hauling for land display or space at our brokerage float (at our option), bottom pressure washing and blocking. Boats in the water will not be run or used other than for a sea trial.

Boats not under contract by October 15 will be launched at no charge or they may stay for winter storage at prevailing rates. If you stay for the winter, a $5.00/ft. credit on the winter storage charge will be given when the reservation is received with a $400 deposit prior to October 15.

Boats under contract on October 15 must leave the yard prior to November 1 to avoid winter storage charges.

Winter Sales Plan

Prevailing Winter Storage rates apply. A $400 deposit is the only winter storage payment due until the first of these 3 events occurs: the boat is sold, April 1, or the boat leaves the yard. At that time, the balance of the winter storage is due in full. All other bills for services (winterizing, covering etc.) are due upon receipt by the owner.

Winter storage is from November 1 to April 30 (6 months).

May 1 to August 31 is included if all bills have been paid when due, the boat remains seriously for sale and the boat is kept in good condition and ready to show.

Boats hauled after October 1 shall be winterized prior to haul-out, and all boats on land after October 1 must be winterized. McMichael Yacht Yard will winterize all engines. Please empty and flush holding tanks prior to arrival at our dock. (There are municipal pump out stations at the Village Docks in Mamaroneck for your convenience).
