The Santa Cruz 37 sailing off Newport in early September.
Selected by Sailing World/Cruising World as "Best New Sailboat of Show" in Newport, it was the boat with the most buzz.
The production-built hull and deck made of carbon fiber and epoxy is designed for peak performance with a cruising interior. The Seldon carbon mast, carbon sprit pole and removable carbon mini-sprit minimize hull weight. When married to the deep torpedo bulb keel, the result is an incredibly stiff and exciting racer/cruiser.
The McMichael team of sailing brokers met with the California and Annapolis dealers to write preliminary Class Rules as the basis for One Design racing. Their excitement will be evident when you call them for more information about the Santa Cruz 37.
