Welcome to Mazatlan Yachts & La Paz Yachts
Ray Watson and Jeannette Sarrasin are the founding partners of Mazatlan Marine Center. After a successful career running their own business in Washington State they opened up what we think is the finest boat brokerage in Mexico. For more information on their home city, Mazatlan, the Pearl of the Pacific, click here.
Mazatlan Yachts became the largest brokerage network in Mexico having been in business for 11 years. We can find the boat you are looking for with listings located in Maztlan and La Paz. Mexico’s Pacific Coast has a large inventory of proven cruising sailboats, powerboats, sportfishers, motor yachts and multi-hulls. We are located in some of the best cruising and fishing grounds in the world. MEXICO!
Our clients come from all over the world. But like the staff in Mazatlan Yachts and La Paz Yachts, most of our clients are from the US or Canada with increasing interest from Europe Australia and New Zealand. We understand that coming to Mexico to see a boat represents a bigger commitment than walking down to your local marina to look around. So we work with you to help make your trip to the Pearl of the Pacific worthwhile!
We take pride in our approach to “tell it like it is." Tell us your style of boating, accommodation needs and investment budget. We'll recommend the best boats to match your preferences.
When you come to visit us, we will be there to greet you. We’ve arranged discounted corporate rates at ocean-front hotels within easy walking distance to the marinas and will assist in reserving your accommodations. We can recommend surveyors. We are with you through your initial inspection, the sea trial and survey. We can arrange the haul out and walk you through the entire process. We are your liaison for everything. We can even recommend some “must see and do” places while you are visiting!
So now's the time. Your boat is waiting for you. In paradise!

61' Nordlund Ed Monk Cockpit Flybridge
1975
US$ 145,000
This blue water expedition cruiser was designed by Ed Monk and custom built for the demanding waters of the Pacific Northwest. The ocean tough-ocean tested vessel features a Portuguese bridge and Euro style side decks for safety and security regardless of weather. A modified full keel increases stability and comfort offshore.
All systems have been maintained in good working order and both 275 HP Cummins engines were completely rebuilt in 2007. Please see rebuild detail under Mechanical in Full Specs. The holding plate refrigeration systems were engineered for long term use offshore or at anchor. Extra thick insulation and large plates were installed to maximize efficiency in tropical conditions. Anchoring gear was sized for the deep water anchorages of Southeast Alaska.
Her current owners have cruised her from Alaska to the Caribbean, with stops in Mexico, Panama, Eastern Seaboard and New Orleans. She recently returned from New York and the Eastern Seaboard. Their dream cruise is complete. The price reduction from $199,900 to $145,000 is due to illness in the family. Compare a 60 footer listed at $350K, a difference of $205,000 and you will appreciate the savings.
