Richard has delivered numerous new boats over the years, many of which are still being enjoyed by their original owners, but has a preference for the resale brokerage market. He feels the journey of locating the right vessel for the individual needs and taste preferences of each client, is most satisfying, and has created true friendships from individuals who began as clients. Negotiating the right price, locating a proper berth, assisting newcomers in the operation of their vessels, and assisting in proper maintenance programs, are all part of the job.
Tom grew up in the UK, where he worked in broadcast news, covering wars in Baghdad, Bosnia and Belfast, until he moved to Los Angeles. He sold a script to Miramax, worked for a floating production company in the Caribbean and raced sailboats before he joined Mason Yachts, where he runs the Marina Del Rey office.

A Santa Barbara native, Arborist, lifelong surfer and avid boater in the Santa Barbara Channel and Islands. He is passionate about boats and is very enthusiastic about his second career.
Boating and Surfing had engulfed all of his free time when not attending college at U.C. Santa Cruz, California. Were a degree in Bachelor of the Arts was earned. Now working in the Marina Del Rey as a Captain teaching Boating Skills of every level to new boaters and those with experience. Frequently visiting Catalina Island with new Mariners and exposing them to the wonders of the Island. Captain Poster is a true boating enthusiast that spends a good portion of his time on the water operating Power and Sail Boats. Thomas has an extensive knowledge of yacht builders and designers of all types. Captain Poster has a low key approach to yacht sales, with the ability to find a client the right vessel and offering full service after the purchase.
