The president and founder is a factory trained and certified technician in Hatteras, Grand Banks, Bertram, Sea Ray and Ferretti yachts. A licensed USCG 100 ton master, he has worked for the biggest names in the business.
The Vice President started with Owens Boat Company in the early 1960's. His experience and knowledge are second to none.
Our associate brokers are also able Captains and marine professionals; rare breeds in this day in age.

53' Hatteras Convertible

This particular 1978 Hatteras 53' Convertible is the finest example of the boat that set the standard for the 50' plus sportfisherman. She boasts a well documented history; 3 owners total, privately owned and cruised by it's owners.
This vessel underwent an extensive refit at Slane Marine in 1998 & 1999. She has been in Maryland ever since...
This vessel has very low time; 900 hours SMOH on the mains and a new genset was installed during refit. This vessel was one of the last of the 53's, and the best. The later models featured prop pockets for greater speed, increased fuel capacity and a redesigned flybridge.
She has all the trademark Slane features; from the exterior air intakes, to the interior modifications. She was repainted twice, the first time in 1998; then subsequently in 1999 again; for hull color changes.
This 53' features three staterooms, two full heads, washer and dryer, custom cabinetry and the list goes on. She has been on the Chesapeake Bay; well cared for and only lightly cruised.
She is absolutely beautiful, a true one of a kind northern Hatteras. Quite easily the best 53' on the market. The owner will consider smaller trades. Pages of documentation exist on this beautiful Hatteras.
