Featured Boat 48' Maple Leaf 1974 US$ 147,500 S/V ADELA is a beautiful example of the Maple Leaf 48 designed by Stan Huntingford. This yacht was built to a high standard by Commodore Yacht Company in Toronto, Canada. She is a powerful cruiser with a very accomodating center cockpit protected by a hard spray dodger and bimini top. The flush fordeck accentuates the graceful hull lines. The aft deck offers a second cockpit and private entrance to the owner's cabin as well as a walk thru transom to the teak swim platform. The interior layout provides plenty of room with two guest cabins and a head forward of the primary bulkhead, a spacious salon and galley and a very private owner's cabin aft with ensuite head. The salon and galley have an abundance of natural light by way of the large fixed ports to port and starboard. ADELA is a unique yacht and is well designed for private use or charter. The hull topsides and deck were professionally painted with Awlgrip in 2007 and all the stanchions and lifelines were replaced in 2005.
