The Mariner Network Yacht Sales announced today that they will be expanding operations from the Southeast shores of Lake Michigan in Michigan City and New Buffalo, north to Manitowac, Wisconsin and Ludington, Michigan. They are actively seeking brokers in these areas and all areas in-between. The Mariner Network was founded in 2004 and has become the Midwest’s second largest brokerage firm. When asked about the key to their success, Capt. Timothy J. Kleihege states that “our combination of professional photography, 360 degree tours, aerial photography, internet saviness and customer service has created a brokerage firm that has successfully infused new ideas into our industry. Most importantly, we present our vessels with detail and quality photography that sets our boats above all others. Quite a few of our brokers are current boat owners. This approach spurns face to face contact with potential customers on a continual basis from a boat owner’s point of view and not your traditional salespersons point of view thus creating an atmosphere of higher trust and understanding. We also recognized the need to have both powerboat and sailboat listing agents that provide expertise in their respective arena”.
