JANUARY, 2006 The Mariner Network announces that aerial photography will commence this spring for select vessels listed with The Mariner Network.
This additional service will be offered to boat owners in the Chicagoland to St. Joseph, Michigan region.
"Our select vessels will be offered this additional service at our expense. In addition, interior photographs will be taken by our on-staff professional photographer," according to Capt. Tim Kleihege, owner.
"Our goal has always been to represent our clients' vessels better than anyone else in the country. To our knowledge we are the only brokerage firm nationwide to offer professional photography services by land, air and water."
The Mariner Network believes that large motoryachts and sailboats are best represented when photographed properly in their element, away from their moorings and on the open water. This idea really rings true for large sailboats. The ability to see numerous sails while underway and under sailing or racing conditions represents the owner's vessel more accurately than simply sitting dockside. Conversely, photographing a large motoryacht dockside provides too many limitations. Obstructions such as other vessels prevent a complete photo shoot on the boat.
Our goal is to make our listed vessels look better than any others on the market. This increases our chances to sell the vessel in a shorter period of time, and at a higher price. A big plus for our clients!
Aerial shots will give your vessel a visual advantage over others.
Natural backgrounds, whether the Chicago Skyline or a lighthouse, provide additional appeal.
Underway shots are tremendously more powerful statements than shots taken dockside.
The proper angle can capture the feeling that the buyer is actually on board.
The absence of a cluttered background provides better focus on the subject at hand.
The helicopter's versatility provides great shots at all angles, distances and heights!
