Randy Kluge Broker
Randy Kluge emerged into the boating world in 1980, when he joined the Jefferson Beach Marina in his home town in Michigan. He spent 10 years with this company, gaining experience in selling brokerage boats and familiarizing himself with the various boat lines such as; Viking, Bertram, WellCraft, Silverton, Windsor Craft, & Ocean Yachts. From there he continued to grow and develop his passion in boating, joining a full Service Marina where he began to deal with new construction as well as pre-owned vessels.
In 1998 Randy took on another venture when he founded and built “The Beach Grill” a 14,000 Sq Ft. Waterfront Restaurant with dockage for approximately 50 Boats in his hometown, St. Clare Shores, Michigan where he currently resides during the hot summer months. Randy also founded and became president of Grosse Pointe Yacht Sales in Grosse Point Shores Michigan.
Today he continues to work in Michigan during the summer months at the South River Marine where they do Brokerage & New Yacht Sales. He joined Lucid Marine in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl where he spends the majority of his time, selling Symbol Yachts as well as the many other brokerage lines that we offer. Randy can be reached on his cellphone at 586 484-8211
Brant Rose Broker
Brant Rose began his love affair with boating in the 3rd grade, with a 12’ open fishing boat with a 2.5 horsepower kicker, piloting it on the Dead River in Central Florida. As a young father of three boys, boating was the recreation of choice. Over the years the size of the family boat steadily increased. The biggest jump came in 2000 when they jumped from a 24 foot boat to a 47 foot yacht. Brant was approaching retirement after 30 years as a detective with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, and the children were grown. He and his wife wanted to experience long-range cruising in the Bahamas. They made several month long trips to the Bahamas, learning a lot about what features are critical to comfortable long-term cruising. While the 47 foot boat was perfect for them and one other couple, it wasn’t large enough to accommodate the whole family. They decided to jump up to a larger yacht.
In 2003, after looking at yachts for almost a year, they saw a 2001 62 foot Symbol Pilothouse Motor Yacht and fell in love with it. Since buying their Symbol yacht, which they named Lady Lynn, they have spent the last five summers cruising the Bahamas during June and July. Their favorite anchorages are in the Exumas, where they love to anchor out for a month at a time. Brant’s hands-on experience with all of the yacht’s systems has enabled him to trouble-shoot any problem that came up. He also has regularly provided help to other boaters.
Brant was so impressed with his Symbol yacht, that he decided to become a broker for them. He loves sharing what he has learned from his cruising and maintenance experience with others who want to live their dream of yachting. Brant and his son, Michael, operate as a sales team, with each bring special technical skills which enable them to provide valuable advice and suggestions to prospective customers that many other yacht salesmen cannot. Brant can be reached on his cell phone at 407-342-9652 or Brant@lucidmarine.com. |
