Meet the Crew
Owner, Wayne Jones, has been a licensed and bonded Broker in San Diego since 1985 and was President of Knight & Carver Yacht Sales, owner and founder of Southwestern Yacht Sales and recently Vice-President of West Bay Sonship as well as being a Broker in Fort Lauderdale. Email: wayne@jonesyacht.com
Our Sales Manager, Leanne McNally, has been in the marine industry since 1994 with experience in yacht sales and yacht management. Leanne is ASA Bareboat certification and founded the W.O.W. "Women On the Water" program at a local sailing school in 2006. The program was designed to train boat handling and confidence to female boaters. She has sailed for over 18 years,raced extensively, cruised up and down the coast as well as the BVI's, La Paz and the Bahamas. She joined the FUBAR 2009 rally and logged over 1100 miles on a Selene 48. She is enjoying all aspects of yacht sales, especially the trawlers. Email: leanne@jonesyacht.com
Captain Bill Shakespearoffers years of specific experience in the sales, operation, manufacturing and management of a variety of pleasure and commercial vessels; mostly power cruising and sport fishing models. Bill has held his USCG 100 ton Masters license for over 40 years and has seen assignments up and down the Pacific Coast of the US, Mexico and Central America including Panama Canal transits, logging over 60,000 miles in all conditions of weather and sea. Recent career stops include a stint as Director of Marketing/Project Manager with Southern California yacht builder Knight and Carver; and with engine/generator manufacturer Northern Lights/Lugger as Business Development Manager; also various Yacht Delivery contracts from Seattle to Manzanillo. Jeanne Miller is the most recent addition to the Wayne C. Jones Yacht & Ship sales team. A longtime San Diego resident and avid boating enthusiast with twenty years sales and management experience, she is thrilled to be out of her corporate office and on the docks helping fellow boater find the right yacht.
