Jim Foyer, Yacht Broker
Jim Foyer has been messing around with boats for quite some time, and rumor has it he even had a listing on Noah’s Ark, albeit an Open Listing. He has sailed in most major races on the West Coast, including the Trans-Pac, PV and Cabo races. He’s fished from Sitka to Cabo and found boats for clients all over the country.
A Staff Commodore of SCYA, past President of USPHRF and a member of CYBA, he’s cruised the Pacific Northwest and even rounded Cape Horn. The latter was on a 1,100 ft Aircraft Carrier (USS Ranger) and he found it quite confining. The landings on the carrier were especially difficult because his eyes were shut and he was deep in prayer most of the time.

86' Bracewell Boatworks Long Range - Expedition - Fish - Dive - Yacht
2006
US$ 3,750,000
This is truly a unique vessel, a long range small ship. Designed by Patrick Bray Design & Research Ltd of British Columbia, Canada. Custom built steel hull & fiberglass house by Bracewell Boatworks of British Columbia, Canada. Her unique hull design was tank tested at the University of British Columbia. She proved to be 20% to 30% more efficient that others her same length. She is built to American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) standards. She was certified #A070259N on March 27, 2007. Her length is 86 feet, with a length overall of 93'10" feet, and a waterline length of 77'6" feet. Her Keel bottom is 3/4", & keel sides 1/2". Her hull bottom is 5/16", hull sides 1/4" & decks 3/16. The house is 1" Foam Cored Fiberglass. She is beautifully finished in Matterhorn White Linear Polyurethane. She has a bulbous bow that gives her additional length with decreased fuel burn and increased speeds.
THE NO BOUNDARIES IS NEW. She was built in 2006, & delivered in 2007. Her original sea trials were done in the Pacific Northwest and has had little to no use since then. She was delivered from the Northwest to Southern California to be sold, and has been here since. Her 3406E Caterpillar Diesels have a total engine hours of 200ea. Her 2 40KW Cummins (Onan) generators have a total of 308 starboard, and 347 port. State of the art electrical systems were custom built by Comar Electric of Canada, as well the finest quality electronics & ships systems were installed. She has a state of the art stabilizer system, with active & passive 23 square foot fins (See Auxiliary Section 4, Last Paragraph for Explanation). The interior has never been slept in except for the delivery, and all appliances etc. have never been used.
Teaks decks and cover boards are lavishly done in the huge cockpit, on the bow pulpit, and on the California deck. She has a day head as well on the California deck. Her interior is yacht quality and beautifully appointed. She has cherry hardwood floors, and cabinetry throughout. The main deck has the salon with wet bar and entertainment center, a professional huge 9X13 U shaped galley with all commercial appliances, including a pair of 49 cubic feet commercial refrigerators and freezers, and all stainless appliances. There is a 10 person dinette, as well as a 3 bar stools for that quick snack. She has 2 guest staterooms and 2 crews quarters (Guest Cabins) all with full in suite heads. Up in the pilothouse is the huge beautiful master suite with in suite head, large shower, and double sinks.
She carries 4960 gallons of fuel. Her long water line length and 3406E Caterpillar engines will cruise her at an extraordinary fuel burn of 8 GALLONS PER HOUR AT 8.5 KNOTS. There is no ocean she cannot cross nor conditions that are untenable. She is unique in design, and will make someone a proud owner of a Long Range - Expedition -Fish - Dive – Yacht, without the 1-3 year wait.
