Welcome to Newman Marine

In 1980, Jarvis Newman started the boat brokerage business, called Newman Marine, on Main Street in Southwest Harbor Maine, where he currently sells used Newman boats in 32', 36', 38', and 46' lengths, as well as many other boats, including Bunker & Ellis boats.

People call us because they know we are associated with the sale of used, Newman boats - a Maine designed lobster style boat.

These boats are commonly referred to as picnic-style cruising boats. Most of these boats are used for pleasure and were custom made for each person's requirements.

Frolic is a Newman 46 that has been very well cared for and maintained over the 22 years her 2nd owner has owned her. She has been stored inside during winters and has been upgraded over the years. All her bottom paint was removed, inspected, barrier coated, and followed by two coats anti-fouling paint in 2007 and 2008. Her layout is very spacious and comfortable. Frolic has cruised the Maine and Massachusetts coasts many times and is a pleasure to sail. We recommend her very highly as an excellent value.
