35' Niagara 35 Mark 1
The NIAGARA 35 MARK 1 is an example of a sailboat that is great to sail, lovely to look at and simply wonderful to be aboard. This Fresh Water Niagara 35 is a sloop with moderate displacement that provides excellent sailing performance, and generous accommodation. Her Vee'd Hull form was developed with a fin keel and spade rudder for good manoueverability and upwind performance For Cruising, the boat is easily handled by one couple with most running rigging leading to the cockpit.
Below deck the Mark 1 has an Aft Cabin with a single and double quarter berth. Passage forward is through the longitudinally arranged galley to port or the dual access head on the starboard side. The Main Salon has two settee berths (one which extends to form a double) and a table on centreline.
Emphasis has been placed on plenty of natural light and ventilation, especially important for those cruising warm climates. (6 Opening Ports, 3 Opening Skylights Hatches and large Companionway)
Diesel powered the Niagara 35 was designed as a sensible, comfortable cruising yacht, exhibiting excellent sailing characteristics and ease of handling.
