Events and Activities
Our Annual Rendezvous seminars start close to 10am and run until about 2:30pm. We always have a great turn out of repeat and new customers.
Ron usually gives a talk on his Top 10 Products of the year & Why.
Everyone gets a lot out of these seminars. Rons' motto is if it is Metal or Moves - "Wash it, lube it, move it or lose it."
Brian our Sales Manager enjoys giving a seminar on The Future of Boating. He talks about the new boat building procedures, and the new technologies of engines (Evinrude E-tech engines). It's a great seminar with lots of new information and insight.
Jim Lindell, the builder of our Ocean Sport Roamer 30 boats was at one of our Rendezvous' to talk about the state-of-the-art techniques used in building our boat for us.
He discussed vacuum infusion, vinylester resin and new techniques coming to the boating industry. We really appreciate his insights.
Here Tim is going over one of our Yamaha engines. We have alot of Pursuit owners who have questions on the large outboards as well as customers with kicker questions. Everyone gets some helpful information.
Fred Fink, from Lunde Marine gives a very iformative talk on the various electronic systems for boats.
Terry Crockett from Navionics came to one of our Rendezvous' and gave a seminar. His very informative talk was all about Navionics marine electronics; it's features and applications.
George Scribner, our All Sports Representative has faithfully been coming to our seminars and discussing his favorite topic: Fishing in the San Juans. He talks about the new products and gives lots of fishing tips and pointers. We thank him for all the great fishing derby prizes.
Our famous and wildly delicious BBQ usually features fish that Ron and some of our crew caught on their Barkley Sound trip. We also have lots of great dishes and desserts. Everyone has a great time.
There are always wonderful boating and fishing stories. Some of them can even win you great prizes. For instance, if you have a good story of a boating mishap you could recieve our infamous "BENT PROP AWARD" or if you logged the most boating hours or even have a considerably funny fishing story you might win fishing gear or a crab cooker.
At one of our rendezvous Ralph Coomber was very lucky, he went away with lots of great prizes. He said he learned some new things and got lots of questions answered about his used 24' boat he bought from us this spring.
We also have fun with our "Favorite SeaFood recipe" contest.
