Having been in the luxury boat business since 1996 Berylís knowledge of boat building has rapidly increased, with particular thanks to her Dutch colleagues - and who could have finer teachers in boat building than the Dutch?
Apart from being actively involved on a daily basis with our busy brokerage, Beryl is involved not only in the professional marketing of all our luxury vessels, but also with her very special knowledge and flair in interior design, her skills are often in demand.
Beryl is frequently to be found at one of our factories in deep discussion with clients and our interior design team.
Imperial is a very special business to be involved in, family run from itís inception, and year on year growing in stature.
Beryl is proud to be a member of the Imperial crew.
Michael had his first boating experience when, at the age of eleven, he salvaged a boat that was adrift and being washed downstream towards the open sea. He secured the boat, reported it to the police and in due course it was returned to its rightful owner. But, from that time on he was hooked on boats!
He saved his pocket money and with the help of his younger brother their savings eventually allowed them to purchase a Cowes built 12ft 6in clinker dinghy. It was relatively cheap at £12 as it came complete with a hole in the bottom of it. Enter his first experience with GRP.
Now after many years of practical experience in all manner and size of boats Ė including many happy and some very hairy moments at sea Ė he is now a fully qualified RYA skipper with thousands of sea miles behind him and has undertaken many delivery trips to and from the Mediterranean as well as extensive cruising in home waters.
Michael prides himself on striving to ensure that all Imperial clients, whether new or old, are always treated in the same courteous and professional manner.
No matter what level of experience the client has, Michael is always willing to assist in any way possible to ensure that they get the very best level of care and attention, all of which hopefully translates into the fullest possible enjoyment of their boat.
Oh, and by the way, he can't swim!
