With the continued development of the Internet as a global medium, the joining of expert forces at an international level has become not only a sensible move but a positive advantage. The time when a prospective buyer with the latest "Boats for Sale" magazine tucked under his arm circled adverts from boat yards and brokers is long gone. Selling a boat is a full-time, specialised profession and it is now the case that many shipyards no longer have a dedicated sales office on site. SIX YEARS OF THE BOAT OF THE YEAR AWARDS
IMPERIAL had only just been announced as the UK distributor for the innovative Numarine marque when, at the London Boat Show 2012, the Numarine 78 Flybridge was nominated for an award in the Best Flybridge over55 feet category of the MBM/MBY Boat of the Year Awards ceremony. Yet again we are very proud to have one of our range of craft accorded such an accolade and recognised for such a prestigious award. 2010 saw the Wim van der Valk 23m Flybridge Quad IPS drive nominated for the same awards. Whilst in 2009 the Johnson 105 Superyacht was nominated as Custom Boat of the year in the MBY/MBM Awards. 2008 saw the highly acclaimed Van der Valk 1750 Continental nominated just like she was in 2007!
